12 Brunch Recipes

I’ve got a Mother’s Day assignment for you: Pick out a brunch recipe, one you’re sure to love. You’ll find a dozen ideas below to get you started.
Here is an assigment of your kids or your spouse: Make that recipe for you Sunday morning while you…
sleep
take a bath
go for a walk
read the New York Times magazine
watch old episodes of Nurse Jackie or Downton or the Housewives
put your feet up
do any other thing you want to do that doesn’t involve cooking or caretaking (unless it’s caretaking of your very own self).
Mothers are worker bees. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a mom who hoofs it to a job or one who stays home, if you have toddlers or teenagers or kids who are all grown up and out the door, from that first newborn wail onward, the job never ends. This wonderful, delightful, mind-blowing, challenging, painful, joyful job called motherhood.
You need a day off. You need someone to nurture you just as you nurture everyone else.

I may not be a Mom but I still wish someone would serve me those soft boiled eggs as breakfast-in-bed!

You don’t need to be a mom to require a little TLC! Hope you get those eggs.
