Ingredients

  • 1 piece of whole grain flatbread, such as Flatout
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon sesame seeds
  • ½ teaspoon poppy seeds
  • ½ teaspoon fennel seeds, lightly crushed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Lay the flatbread on a cutting board and use cookie cutters to cut shapes from the bread. Transfer to a baking sheet and brush with olive oil. Sprinkle lightly with garlic powder and salt, along with the seeds. For a shortcut version, skip the cookie cutters, brush the entire flatbread with olive oil, sprinkle on the garlic, salt, and seeds, and cut into 12 to 15 squares.

  3. Bake until the edges turn golden brown, about 7 minutes.

  4. Remove from the oven and let cool before serving. The crackers will continue to crisp as they cool.
