10 Healthy Snack Ideas
For some of us, figuring out what to feed kids after school day-in day-out can be as challenging as packing lunches. And snacks do matter. The trick is to nourish kids enough so they’ll last through the afternoon, but not so heartily that they want to take a pass at dinnertime.
I had the opportunity to dream up a slew small bites when the folks at Real Simple magazine asked me to develop 10 healthy snack ideas for their annual Family issue. It was a plum assignment. The catch?
