15 Cooking Projects for Kids

15 cooking projects

It’s been a month since the shelter-in-place order began in San Francisco, where I live. It’s hard on everyone, but I think particularly tough for parents homeschooling kids during the day and then trying to keep them engaged after school hours. Just today my step sister was lamenting how hard it is on her 10-year-old, who just wants to run out and play. The playgrounds and parks are closed, and social distancing in a city isn’t easy. This post is for the kids — little ones, big ones, teenagers, and kids at heart. Consider this a handbook of cooking craft projects. Maybe it will break up the boredom, and when you’re done, you’ll have something good to eat.
